Meet Angus: Arca Lab’s Newest Sponsored Rescue
Every dog deserves to feel loved, cared for, and comfortable, especially while they’re waiting for their forever home.
That’s why we’re so happy to share that we’ve sponsored Angus, a rescue dog at SMART Animal Sanctuary & Rehoming Centre.
Thanks to You
Earlier this year, we sponsored Mabel at SMART. Since then, you’ve kept shopping with Arca Lab, and that support has added up. Together, we’ve raised another $100 to sponsor Angus.
And the reason we’re supporting SMART again? You chose them. When you check out at Arca Lab, you can select a non-profit to support, and SMART was a popular pick. We’re just following your lead.
Supporting Angus
Rescue is a big change for any dog. Our sponsorship helps cover Angus’s food, care, veterinary support, and love while he waits for his next chapter.
For us, it’s about more than a donation. It’s about giving a little extra support to a dog who deserves a second chance.
Meet SMART
SMART Animal Sanctuary & Rehoming Centre was established in 2003 and has grown from helping around 35 dogs in its first year to rehoming up to 500 domestic and farm animals every year.
Based in the Snowy Mountains of NSW, SMART rescues animals from country pounds, including dogs and cats at risk of euthanasia. They also take in surrendered animals and farm animals when they have the space.
Animals stay in SMART’s care with no time limits. They receive veterinary care, food, shelter, vaccinations, desexing, microchipping, and plenty of patience and love until they find a home. If a forever home can’t be found, SMART continues to care for them at the sanctuary or through permanent foster care.
SMART is a not-for-profit charity that receives no government or RSPCA funding. Their work relies on donations, fundraising, volunteers, staff and support from the community, so every bit of support matters.
One sponsorship. One donation. One share. One adoption.
