Shipping & Delivery Policy

Please read this policy carefully before placing your order. By completing a purchase, you agree to the terms below. This policy applies to all orders placed through arcalab.com.au for delivery within Australia.
1. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any right or remedy you have under the
Australian Consumer Law (ACL), Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth). If your order is lost, damaged in transit, or not delivered within a reasonable time, you may have rights to a remedy under the ACL. This policy operates alongside — and does not replace — your statutory rights.
2. Order Processing & Dispatch
2.1 Dispatch Timeframe. We aim to process and dispatch all orders within 1–3 business days of receiving payment confirmation. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding Australian public holidays.
2.2 Peak Periods. During promotional sales events, public holidays, or periods of high demand, dispatch may take up to 5 business days. We will communicate any significant delays to the email address provided at checkout.
2.3 Order Cut-Off. Orders placed after 12:00 pm AEST on a business day will be processed the following business day.
2.4 Dispatch Confirmation. You will receive an email with tracking information once your order has been dispatched. It is your responsibility to ensure the delivery address you provide at checkout is current and accurate.

Important: All delivery timeframes are estimates provided by Australia Post and are not guaranteed. Arca Lab is not responsible for delays caused by Australia Post, weather events, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Regional and remote delivery timeframes include but are not limited to: Far North Queensland, outback NSW/SA/WA/NT, remote Tasmania, and offshore islands. If you are unsure whether your area is considered regional or remote, contact Australia Post or reach out to us before placing your order.
4. Free Shipping Threshold
Free standard tracked shipping applies to orders with a total order value of $ 50 AUD or more (after any discounts, before shipping is applied). The free shipping threshold is subject to change; the threshold applicable at the time of checkout applies to your order.
5. Carrier Responsibility & Risk of Loss
5.1 Handover to Carrier. Risk of loss or damage to your order passes to Australia Post once we hand your parcel to the carrier. At that point, your parcel becomes subject to Australia Post's terms and conditions.
5.2 Our Packaging. We take reasonable care to package all orders securely before dispatch. However, once an order has been accepted by Australia Post, we are not responsible for damage caused during transit.
5.3 Delivery Address Accuracy. Arca Lab is not liable for delayed or failed delivery resulting from an incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided by you at checkout. Additional re-delivery fees charged by Australia Post in such circumstances are your responsibility.
5.4 Authority to Leave (ATL). If you select or are prompted to enable 'Authority to Leave' for your delivery, Arca Lab accepts no liability for loss or theft of parcels left unattended. This is a service you authorise independently through Australia Post.
6. Lost, Delayed or Damaged Parcels
6.1 Delayed Parcels. If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery window, we recommend first checking your tracking information via the link in your dispatch email. If your parcel appears stalled or the tracking has not updated for more than 5 business days, contact us at info@arcalab.com.au and we will lodge an enquiry with Australia Post on your behalf.
6.2 Lost Parcels. If Australia Post declares your parcel lost in transit, we will work with you to arrange a replacement or refund in accordance with our Refund Policy and your rights under the ACL.
6.3 Damaged in Transit. If your order arrives damaged, please: (a) photograph the outer packaging and the damaged item immediately upon receipt; and (b) contact us at info@arcalab.com.au within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photographs. We will assess the claim and provide an appropriate remedy.
6.4 Australia Post Claims. Where a claim needs to be lodged with Australia Post, we will initiate that process on your behalf. Resolution timelines are determined by Australia Post and are outside our control.
7. Undeliverable Parcels & Returned Orders
7.1 Failed Delivery. If a parcel is undeliverable due to an incorrect address, failed delivery attempts, or failure to collect from a post office, Australia Post may return it to us.
7.2 Re-Delivery Fee. If your order is returned to us due to an error on your part, you will be responsible for the cost of re-dispatch. We will contact you to arrange re-delivery before processing any additional charge.
7.3 Refusal to Re-Deliver. If you do not wish to have the order re-sent, we will refund the original product price less the original outbound shipping cost.
8. International Shipping
At this time, Arca Lab ships within Australia only. International orders cannot be accepted. We will update this policy if international shipping becomes available.
9. GST & Customs
All prices on our website are displayed in Australian dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) where applicable. As we are an Australian-only retailer, no customs duties apply to domestic orders.
10. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update or amend this policy at any time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that order. We encourage you to review this page before placing an order.
